Most spam filters don't penalize tracking pixels alone. However, mismatched tracking domains (pixel hosted on a different domain than the sender), low text-to-image ratios, and slow pixel endpoints can trigger filters. Recommendations:
- Use a tracking subdomain under your sending domain (e.g.
track.yourdomain.com) - Keep pixel endpoint response time fast (<200ms)
- Keep emails text-forward — the signature image approach helps vs. invisible pixel alone
- Monitor your deliverability metrics in the Deliverability tab
